Four Let's Talk Tech graduates joined STRESORS Cameroon for two weeks and found themselves labelling products, designing flyers and selling at a World Humanitarian Day exhibition.

STRESORS Cameroon, which stands for Strategic Relief and Social Rehabilitation Services, is a civil society organisation that began work in 2017 and was registered on 1 September 2021. Its vision is empowered people and sustainable communities, and its motto, bearing one another's burden, comes from Galatians 6:2.

Dongue Dario, Njoh Marie Noel Ache, Mama Josemile and Lemnyuy Telma were placed from 12 to 26 August 2026. The organisation is headed by Mrs Josephine Munji as CEO, with Mr Ndasake Ezekiel as General Coordinator, and both gave the team guidance throughout.

STRESORS works on humanitarian response, community development, empowerment for women and girls, prevention of gender-based violence, and social cohesion. Its head office is in Belo Subdivision, with an annex opposite Way in Nkwen, Bamenda.

Social media first

Early in the placement the team reviewed how STRESORS appears online and started helping with its content, preparing material for publication and learning how an organisation keeps a steady public voice.

Graphic design ran alongside it. They produced flyers, promotional materials and product covers, each one tied to something the organisation actually needed rather than a practice brief.

“The knowledge, skills and experiences gained during these two weeks will remain valuable to us as we continue our studies and future careers.”

Labelling products, then selling them

One day was given over to product preparation and labelling, together with the promotional design that goes with it. It was a side of the work none of them had expected from a humanitarian organisation.

That work paid off at the World Humanitarian Day exhibition, where STRESORS showed and sold its products. The interns helped promote and sell, which pushed them into marketing and basic entrepreneurship.

The team photographed and filmed organisational activities and events, building a record STRESORS can use later. They also sat in on project planning and organisational meetings.

A humanitarian learning session gave them the principles behind the work, and later days moved into content creation, video editing and further project planning.

What two weeks taught them

The placement put their Let's Talk Tech training to work in a real organisation. They came out with practical experience in graphic design, social media, photography, videography, event documentation, marketing and product work.

In their acknowledgements the team thanked the management and staff for their guidance, encouragement and patience, and noted that working together let them learn from one another and get the most out of a short placement.

With thanks

Thank you, STRESORS Cameroon

Our thanks to STRESORS Cameroon for opening its doors to four of our trainees, and to Mrs Josephine Munji and Mr Ndasake Ezekiel for giving them real work and real responsibility rather than a seat in the corner. A placement only teaches anything when the host is willing to make room, answer questions and let people get things wrong on the way to getting them right. We are grateful they did.
