Ntokwo Precious Khonyi
Hey, I'm Ntokwo Precious Khonyi, a 19year-old Software Engineering student at The University of Bamenda. Joining the Let's Talk Tech program was honestly one of the best decisions I have made. I started by improving my web designing skills, and that small progress gave me so much confidence. From there, I learned how to do graphic designing, edit videos, and had a little intro into cyber security, and each new skill made me feel like I could actually bring my ideas to life. I have been applying everything I learned on my own projects and helping friends create things they never thought they could. I'd genuinely recommend this program to anyone who wants to explore their creativity and tech skills. To make it even better, adding more real world projects would make the experience even more meaningful and challenging, but it's the kind of push that really helps you grow.

Therese Semirnyuy
Hello! I am Therese Semirnyuy, a biochemist and masters (II) student in public health from the University of Bamenda-Cameroon. I am the team lead of Spectra Tech Agency with skills in professional project/proposal writing and management, data analysis, and digital marketing (copywriting, web design, graphic design, search engine optimization, facebook and whatsapp ads). I advocate for inclusion of persons with disabilities because I believe disability is not inability.
I have volunteered in 3 NGOs and currently the focal point of Xhuma Africa Association. I have touched over hundreds of young people as well as elderly through community service in health education.
I was fortunate to have been selected to take part in the Let's Talk Tech 2025 session. During the period of one month with one internship I was trained in web/graphic designing, custom book creation, introduction to cybersecurity, video editing, photography and editing and AI usage.
With the skills acquired from Let's Talk Tech, I am excited to have started a digital marketing agency called Spectra Tech Agency with 13 dynamic team members offering services in web development, graphic designing, typing, printing, photocopy, editing, proposal writing, cv building, computer troubleshooting, software installation, and data analysis.
I encourage everyone out there to enroll in the next Let's Talk Tech session and join the train of digital evolution, discover your hidden potentials and boost productivity to position yourself for global relevance.
To the Let's Talk Team, increasing the duration of training and proper time management will go a long way to ensure the skills learned are properly digested by the students.

I'm a postgraduate student of the University of Bamenda currently pursuing a DIPES II and Masters in English Modern Letters and English, Literature and Digital Cultures respectively. I have undergone tech trainings with certificates in graphic design, video editing, photography and many more.
I use my design skills to do language lessons, design flyers, create content online, educate youths and encourage them to learn tech. Tech is a beautiful and amazing field of study — I encourage each and everyone out there to at least learn a tech skill to belong in this digital era.
Let's Talk Tech was an awesome program and I don't regret being part of that journey. I got to connect with like-minded individuals, learn so many tech skills, operate basic things on my laptop without help, and learned discipline, time consciousness, and readiness to learn at all times. I also learned to teach others the little I know.

I'm a student of the Higher Teachers Training College Bambili of the University of Bamenda studying computer science (ICT). I'm a peace and youth advocate, a conscript of the National Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development (NCSAPD), and a member of Tubah Conscript Association and Tubah Youth Think Tank Club for Peace.
During the Let's Talk Tech training I acquired skills in video shooting and editing, picture editing, graphics designing, branding, storytelling and the use of AI tools and a lot more.
After the training, I've used my storytelling and video editing skills in producing a documentary and TikTok videos, and with AI tools I've produced songs, videos and edited pictures.
Programs like Let's Talk Tech are very important for youths and the growing population. I think they should be held for longer durations to properly evaluate trainees, and makeshift laptops could be made available for trainees who don't have one.

Ndufong Bernice Afanwi
Bernice Afanwi is a transformative leader and advocate for Career Orientation, Founder of Career Forge Academy and Co-Founder of Start With Little. She currently serves as Training Coordinator at Dream Reality Incubator.
She is an alumna of the Harvard Aspire Leaders Program (2024), the AIIDEV Africa SDGs-CAP Program (2024), and the Millennium Campus Fellowship (2023).
Before coming for the training, I had this battle between attending online or on-site, given it was just for 2 weeks. I wondered, what could I learn in such a short time? Well, I learnt a lot from prompt engineering and AI tools, to enhancing my graphic design, video editing and storytelling skills.
It was a whole new experience — my first on-site training. Meeting people from different backgrounds and connecting with them was amazing.
